Our Evangelism Ministry Leader, Courtney Fristad has teamed up with Pastors Vernon and Marilyn Carter to begin new outreach efforts in Moore -- Close to Home. You may remember the Carters from their previous ministry, The House of Hope in Downtown Oklahoma City. The House of Hope gave many people of Riverlife the opportunity to serve the homeless people in the Oklahoma City Metro, and we were truly blessed by this ministry. God is doing something new, and we're excited to share His love with the community.
We love our neighbors, and we want them to know their local church. We go to different places in town as the Lord leads. During our most recent community outreach event, we brought sack lunches and games to a local apartment complex and spent time in fellowship with families at the pool. When people gather together in His name, an apartment lawn becomes a table and simple conversation between neighbors becomes a holy opportunity.
