Smoky Mountain Children's Home (Sevierville, TN) The RLC Ladies Ministry and New Life Group are blessed to sponsor one child each from the Church of God Smoky Mountain Children’s Home, a safe place for hurting and displaced children and teens since 1920. The Home's residential and foster care programs offer family counseling, individual therapy, and educational opportunities tailored to meet each child's individual needs. With the love and encouragement from specially trained staff members, these children overcome the pain of their past circumstances and look forward to bright futures. The changes that take place in the lives of these children are truly miraculous. Many of the Home’s alumni are raising happy families, enjoying successful careers, and serving as leaders of their communities. Our contributions provide money for clothes, personal items, special recreation and entertainment activities, extracurricular activities and houseparent support. We also send special gifts on birthdays and at Christmas. Everyone at Riverlife is welcome to contribute to the Smoky Mountain Childrens Home by giving monthly.
